The aim of the department of Art and Design is to develop creativity, understanding and knowledge, and appreciation of Art and Design in each and every pupil.

Art is for all. We intend that all pupils will find the subject stimulating, challenging and rewarding. In the mastering of skills and increased awareness and knowledge comes growing self-confidence and self-esteem
